Enrolment at the practice means that your fee will be less than if you are not enrolled. Funding for this comes through the District Health Board. At regular intervals the District Health Board through its Primary Healthcare Organisation, WellSouth, checks to see that funding for your subsidised consultations is to continue to come via Waihopai Health Services.

Fifteen Minute appointment for patients who are entitled to receive funding support as of 01/07/2021

Phone/ Remote Consultations

The charge for these consultations is based on the time it takes to complete the consultation plus any time that is required to complete the notes, prescriptions and other tasks  required for your management.

Drivers Medicals

These medicals are not funded by the Ministry of Health, therefore a full fee applies.

Drivers Medical Fee for <75 years – $96.00 (doctor only)

Drivers Medical Fee for >75 years – $118.60 (doctor and nurse fee)

International Students and Non Resident Standard Consultation Fee

Community Services Card Application…

With proposed changes to funding to see your doctor, it is important if you are entitled to a Community Services Card (CSC), you have applied for this and have it available. Once implemented the changes proposed may reduce the cost of your consultation if you have a current CSC.
